Artist David Pompa, based in Mexico City's vibrant Roma Norte neighbourhood, is renowned for creating unique lighting designs that celebrate Mexican culture. His designs feature distinctive natural materials, such as the textured Fiorito rock used in the Meta and Origo collections, and hand-blown recycled glass in the Mingo series. This commitment to materiality results in a unique visual language that embodies the rich heritage and innovative spirit of Mexican artisanship.

Origo Pendant

The Origo pendant light showcases a striking contrast between textured Fiorito rock and smooth, opal-white glass in its spherical design. This sculptural piece can be installed individually, as bedside lighting, in a row above a kitchen island, or as a custom chandelier in a stairwell or open space.

Meta Pendant

The Meta lighting collection presents striking pendant lighting sculptures that celebrate unique, natural materials. The white and grey Meta pendant light features Fiorito, a Mexican stone with white and grey tones that enclose small fossil remains. The black Meta pendant light showcases a monochromatic, cylindrical form crafted from dark grey volcanic rock with a coated black metal shade. Meta lights create an architectural statement in contemporary settings, whether installed individually, in a row, or in a cluster.
We can customise a unique Meta multi-light pendant or chandelier to perfectly match the scale and design requirements of your project—please consult one of our lighting experts for more information.

Mingo Pendant

The Mingo pendant light features a stunning polished brass finish and a hand-blown recycled glass diffuser with tiny air bubbles, creating a unique lighting effect. Mingo can be installed individually or in a cluster for a dramatic and striking lighting feature.
